Hand-knotted rug with ghazni wool

Each Ziegler rug is a unique work of art that will add warmth, character and style to your home. Ziegler rugs can trace their roots back to the late 19th century, when the German company Ziegler & Co. began manufacturing them in the Sultanabad region of Iran /now known as Arak/. Natural dyes were used in the production of this rug. The rug was hand-knotted from the highest quality hand-spun Afghan wool, called ghazniwool, on a wool warp.
