The unique Wimbledon is a hand-knotted carpet made of the highest quality hand-spun New Zealand wool, on a cotton warp. The Wimbledon collection has been designed from old Mughal patterns. The wool is dyed with natural dyes obtained from walnuts, pistachios and the Kermes beetle. During the final treatment, the carpet is washed in a special tea bath, which gives this carpet a specific patina and shine. During this 3-time repeated procedure, the fringes of the carpet also acquire an antique finish. The carpet has a pile height of 14 mm, it can be used in modern and classic interiors with underfloor heating. The Wimbledon carpet was hand-knotted in the area of ​​the Indian city of Aurai.
