Hand-knotted wool rug with viscose

The rug from our Taj Mahal collection is a high-quality, hand-knotted rug with an oriental pattern. The rug is hand-knotted from the highest quality New Zealand wool and artificial silk, which completes the design of the rug, on a cotton warp. The wool pile is hand-cut during the final finishing of the rug. The pile height of this rug is up to 12 mm, making it suitable for rooms with underfloor heating. The Taj Mahal rug was hand-knotted in a small factory located near the Indian city of Bhadohi.
