The material of this carpet is a combination of sheep's fleece and astragan, which is sheep's fleece from a very young sheep. Individual pieces of sheep's fleece and astragan are sewn together by hand. The carpet is incredibly soft to the touch, because sheep's fleece contains a large amount of lanolin, a natural fat. The underside of the carpet is made of artificial leather, the carpet is also suitable for interiors with underfloor heating. The carpet is handmade in the Turkish city of Bursa.
