Hand-knotted wool rug with geometric medallion

The carpet of the Heriz collection is an oriental carpet with a geometric medallion. The design of the carpet comes from Persia, i.e. Iran. The production of the carpet is hand-knotted, from hand-spun New Zealand wool, on a cotton warp, finished with fringes at both ends. The height of the wool pile is approx. 15 mm, the carpet is suitable for rooms with underfloor heating. The carpet comes from a handmade manufactory, from around the Indian city of Khamaria.
