Hand-knotted wool rug

Damask is a hand-knotted carpet in a combination of New Zealand wool and bamboo silk on a cotton warp. Bamboo silk is obtained from bamboo stalks, so the carpet is a 100% natural product. The carpet is finished on two sides with cotton fringes that are dyed in a tea bath.
