Hand-knotted wool rug with central medallion

The Begam collection carpet is a unique carpet in cream and gold tones, with a central medallion. This collection is based on the design of Mamluk carpets, which are a celebration of classic 16th century design with visual representations of Venetian paintings. The carpet is a hand-knotted process from the highest quality New Zealand wool combined with bamboo silk, which creates the final design of the carpet. Bamboo silk is obtained from bamboo stalks, so the carpet is a 100% natural product. The height of the wool pile is up to 15 mm, including the cotton warp, so it is suitable for rooms with underfloor heating.
