Abadeh is a hand-knotted rug made from high-quality hand-spun New Zealand wool on a cotton warp. The wool is dyed with natural dyes obtained from walnuts, pistachios and the Kermes beetle. It has a small oriental pattern with a diamond medallion. The carpet is finished with fringes on both sides, the knot density is approximately 160,000 knots per 1 m². The pile height is approximately 12 mm, so the carpet is suitable for interiors with underfloor heating. The carpet was hand-knotted in a manufactory in the vicinity of the city of Abade, in the Fars province of Iran. It is therefore a real Persian carpet
